For lobster lovers this rare catch is beautiful, but will never make it to your local restaurant. This rare yellow lobster was caught off Rhode Island. Yellow Lobsters are rare, only 1 in 30 million are yellow.
Lobster shells are three colored: red, yellow and blue and usually appear green, which is a mix of these colors. When cooked the shells turn red. Blue lobsters are also rare, usually just 1 in 4 million lobsters.
This lobster is not bound for any table,the yellow lobster will be put display at the State Pier in Newport, Rhode Island.
