Whataburger this week joined the better burger battle by rolling out its new Chop House Cheddar Burger for a limited time through August 31st. Some stores even giving away free lemon pies
The Chop House burger, which features two grilled beef patties, grilled onions, shredded cheddar cheese, two slices of bacon and steak sauce on a five-inch bun, is the first new twist the 700-unit chain has made to its classic Whataburger offering since 2007. The Chop House is $4.69 for the burger alone and $6.69 with a drink and fries.

Burger King was replaced by Subway as a top quick-serve, fast food brands in the country, according to industry ranking. Subway and Starbucks to climbed higher on this year's QSR 50, an annual ranking produced by the business-to-business publication QSR.
While McDonald's still holds the No. 1 spot with more than $30 billion in sales, Subway moved up for the second year in a row(earning $9.6 billion in sales), this time bumping Burger King from No. 2 to No. 3 quick-serve brand in the nation.
